Jesse & Judy Wedding Proposal Amidst Southern Oak Trees
As New Orleans wedding photographers, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of so many emotional moments in loving couples lives. This was recently the case when we worked with Jesse and Judy. Jesse contacted us last month about his plans to surprise Judy with a proposal of marriage at Oak Alley Planation.
Having visited this amazing site many times, we knew that he had chosen an epic location for a proposal. Oak Alley Planation, a historic site nestled between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, is well known for its rows of Southern Live Oak Trees, the unmatched peace and tranquility of the grounds, and the staff’s friendly southern hospitality. We were thrilled to get to be a part of this magical event. Jesse worked tirelessly scheduling and navigating the days events to ensure that everything went seamlessly. He succeeded and the proposal was a resounding success. Judy was stunned and amazed and we were able to capture her shock and delight as Jesse dropped to a knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She said “I will”, and they both beamed with joy. Eventually, Sylvia and I wandered over to the newly engaged couple. Judy was thrilled when she realized that we had been photographing every moment. Not only had the love of her life just proposed to her, but she realized she will have photographs to reflect upon for years to come. After laughing and chatting for a while, we spent a few minutes taking some couples portraits. Then it was time to bid the happy couple farewell. What a great experience! Congratulations to Jesse and Judy on their engagement and best wishes for a wonderful wedding and prosperous future. Here are a just a few of their memorable “moments that matter.”
